Join us for a Rockin' all-acoustic blues band featuring harmonica player extraordinaire/vocalist Kevin Purcell and his band - The Root Doctors. Music, Beer Garden, Food, Carnival Rides, Games of Skil, and so much more! AlpineFest was organized in 1976, our mission is to collect, preserve, and share the history of Ela Township.

Come celebrate the 4th of July with Rose Hill Revival - the Ultimate Allman Brothers Experience. Join us for a night of southern rock music when Rose Hill Revival takes the stage at Morton Grove Days to give tribute to one of the top bands of the 70’s, The Allman Brothers.

Your favorite blues band will be playing some of our original tunes, as well as all the classics you know and love, plus a few new ones you'll surely enjoy on the scenic shores of the Fox River.

Our special guests for this weekend at the Oar are: Harry Hmura on guitar Tom Bowling on fiddle

Harry has played the blues on stage with some of the greats and toured around the country with the great James Cotton...

Tom Bowling is an accomplished violin master who will join us in putting a little hoedown in our tunes!!!!

After playing in front of Greg Allman at the historic King Biscuit Blues Festival in Arkansas, Chicago-based artist and producer Kevin Purcell was inspired to bring together some of the area’s finest veteran musicians to create Rose Hill Revival!

$10 -$20 per person with a minimum of tables of 6 people, and a maximum of 16 people.

Kevin Purcell & Friends - A Night to Honor Those Who Served

American Legion, 515 S. Main Street, Wauconda

The Wauconda Woman's Club sponsors 'A Night to Honor Those Who Served' on Saturday, November 11th, at the American Legion (515 S. Main Street, Wauconda).

Proceeds will be donated to the veterans - Veterans Path to Hope and Gifts to the Yanks Who Gave.

Tickets are $20 in advance and include food (pulled pork, BBQ sauce, scalloped potatoes, baked beans, and dessert). Doors open at 6 pm, and food will be served 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

Music by Kevin Purcell & Friends from 7 to 10 pm.

There will also be a 50/50 raffle and a wine pull. Tickets at the door are $25 (if available).
