We are giving our time and help and money and energy and whatever we can for this dear little one who fighting the fight that almost all of us have encountered in our lives with someone. This is the grandaughter of one my favorite people in the town of Wauconda. Deb and her husband John are some of the nicest, most helpful, most genuine people you that you meet maybe once in a lifetime, and we are pulling out all of the stops for them and their daughter and grandaughter. It takes a village to raise a child, it takes a village to heal a child! This fundraiser has been assembled by some other good people of Wauconda and beyond, and we intend to make it a smash! Heres the scoop - from 10AM to 2PM there will be a Lindys Brunch (Adults $15, Kids $8) and the proceeds are all going to the Lily Fund. Then at 2 o'clock the live music starts, with Whats Missing? (Louis Sharps outfit) going 2 to 3, Bart and the Belvederes (Bart Alonzos gang)from 3 thirty to 4 thirty and The Nightburners (Kevin Purcells rascals) from 5 to 6 - all of these times are approximate, some will probably play longer, and I know we will play until nobody wants to hear the cacaphony anymore! There will also of course be 50/50 raffles, themed prize packages, and of course dancing and drinking!!!
